Bucs-Brewers: Round Two Lineup & Notes

Well, win with your regular lineup and then shuffle it. Cutch is out, not unexpected as he hurt his knee last night. But Corey Hart and Andrew Lambo are flanking Starling Marte in the pasture while Jung-Ho Kang gets his first MLB start at short. So we'll see how the shake-and-bake works. With the wearying rain delays in Cincy and then the travel delay to Milwaukee, we actually thought we'd see the bench guys yesterday; Clint probably wanted a win under the team's belt first.

The Game: First pitch is at 7:10 with Vance Worley facing off against Jimmy Nelson. The game will be shown on the MLB Network and aired by 93.7 The Fan.

The Lineup: Josh Harrison 3B, Fran Cervelli C, Neil Walker 2B, Starling Marte CF, Pedro Alvarez 1B, Corey Hart RF, Andrew Lambo LF, Jung-Ho Kang SS, Worley P.

  • Chris Stewart (right hamstring strain) went 2-for-6 in two games on his rehab assignment with Altoona and will continue his comeback work at Indy now.
  • In their last 15 games played in Milwaukee, the Pirates have gone 8-7.
  • The Indians claimed Stolmy Pimentel from the Pirates. No word on Pedro Florimon's status yet.
  • Omar Moreno will be inducted into the Western Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame tonight. Moreno set the single-season Pirates record for stolen bases with 96 in 1980 and his 412 steals in his eight years with the team ranks third behind Max Carey and Honus Wagner.
