D-Backs & Bucs, J-Grove v Greinke & Notes - Corey D Back, Fraze Gone

Today: It's a 4:05 start and the game will be on AT&T SportsNet and 93.7 The Fan. It's a Sean Rodriguez Walkoff bobblehead night, and John Candelaria will be signing autographs outside the park before the game.

Pitchers: RHP Joe Musgrove (2-2, 3.68) battles RHP Zack Greinke (6-5, 3.90). We're still trying to get a read on Joe as he settles into the rotation; he's been hot and cold. He's faced Arizona once, lasting six innings after giving up three runs (two earned) on five hits with six whiffs earlier this year. Greinke has run into a bumpy patch lately, surrendering 12 runs (11 earned) in his last three starts covering 16-2/3 IP. The Bucs chased him in the fifth on June 13th, scoring five times on five hits. Although Zack did punch out seven, he also gave up a pair of homers and four free passes.

Lineup: Austin Meadows RF, Corey Dickerson 3B, Starling Marte CF, Colin Moran 3B, Elias Diaz C, Josh Bell 1B, Jordy SS, S-Rod 2B & Musgrove P. J-Hay and Gregory are sitting; S-Rod gets the start on his bobblehead day.

Notes:

• Colin Moran has reached base safely in his last 19 starts; J-Bell in his last dozen. On the other side of the coin, Joey O is hitless in his last 14 at bats.
• Chad Kuhl is available out of the bullpen today; his last start didn't last very long. Steven Brault & Tyler Glasnow are down this afternoon, plus it's Chad's day to throw between starts. It's been a rough series for the pen, which has had to cover 12 innings in the past two days.
• Corey D returned to action today; Fraze was sent back to Indy.
• The Pirates have lost 12 of the last 18 games.
