Game: Opening pitch for the series closer is at 7:05 and will be broadcast by MLB Network (out of town), AT&T SportsNet & 93.7 The Fan. The Bucs will try to salvage a game.
Lineup: Erik Gonzalez SS, Kevin Newman 2B, Josh Bell 1B, Colin Moran DH, Jose Osuna LF, JT Riddle 3B, Cole Tucker RF, Jarrod Dyson CF, Jake Stallings C and Trevor Williams P. 21 games, 20 lineups. And hey, why not sit down three LH starters and replace w/righties against Shane Bieber? (Actually, he does have a reverse split this year, but lefties have done better against him during his overall career).

Pitchers: RHP Trevor Williams (1-3/3.98) will have his work cut out for him against RHP Shane Bieber (4-0/1.30). Willy has been solid in his August starts with a 3.00 ERA and has six days rest. Unlike many of the starters, he is stretched out and thrown 90+ pitches in his last three starts, but he uses a lot of them and has gotten into the sixth just once this year. Already an All-Star, Bieber leads the MLB in whiffs, is on the short list for the 2020 Cy Young, and is just 25. As they say, the future is so bright that I need sunglasses...
Notes:
- Not just the players and field staff: the Pirates announced that club prez Travis Williams tested positive for Coronavirus. He's doing well and was diagnosed/isolated early, sparing the rest of the team from exposure *knock on wood*
- Milwaukee comes to town for a three-game set starting tomorrow.
- Gonna be a long season: A Met player (and also a staffer) tested positive for Covid 19. Tonight's NY-Miami game has been postponed.
