Hey, every so often the Buccos have a deal that's just too good to resist, and Buc night is one of those non-bobblehead/firework games that's more than worth the price of admission. Here's the Pirate release:
"The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced they have partnered with Sugardale to host the popular promotion "Buc Night" on Friday, April 8 when the Pirates take on the Colorado Rockies at 7:05 p.m.
Details for Sugardale "Buc Night" are as follows:
* There will be a limited number of one dollar tickets to the game in select sections, while supplies last.
* There will be one dollar Sugardale hot dogs.
* Popcorn will cost one dollar.
* Fountain soft drinks at PNC Park general concession stands will be one dollar off.
Plus, Sugardale Buc Night will be the first "Free Shirt Friday" in 2011 where all fans attending the game will receive a free Pirates t-shirt courtesy of West Penn Allegheny Health System. All fans attending the game will also receive a 2011 Pirates Schedule Poster."
Sometimes a ticket is a pretty good deal. If you can't make Opening Day, this is the next best thing, and you'll get to go home with an armful of free goodies, to boot.
