Pitchers: Ivan Nova (7-4, 2.91) closes the series against Chase Anderson (5-2, 2.92). Ivan has won four of his last five decisions and six of his last eight and pitched at least six innings in each of his starts. He's 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA in two starts against Milwaukee, both coming in 2016. Chase has been all that in the last month for The Brew Crew - four of his last five starts have gone seven IP+ and he's 3-1/1.04 with a K per frame and .161 Opp BA during that span. He's 3-2/3.43 in eight lifetime starts against the Bucs
Notes:
- Fran was placed on the 7-day concussion DL; seems his "flu" was actually post-concussive symptoms and he's returning to Pittsburgh for more tests. Jacob Stallings was recalled. Clint says there are no issues with Stew to make him keep three catchers, but he wants Eli's bat available as a pinch-hitter when he's not starting.
- Jordy brings an 11-game hitting streak into today's game.
