  • Ty Bradley of MLB Trade Rumors selects his three needs for each of the Central Division clubs; the Pirates holes were fairly obvious, at least the first two.
  • Trevor Williams had some fun when a Bronx waiter mistakenly took the Bucco hurler for an equally bushy Bryce Harper.
  • MLB.com's Will Leitch predicts that Mitch Keller will be one of 10 players whose name you'll learn in 2019.
  • MLB Pipeline has each team's worst #1 pick of the decade...see if u agree. They do note, tho, that "Roughly 1/3 won't reach MLB, and a similar number will have insignificant careers at that level." They also previously offered their choice of the best pick over the past 10 years.
  • The best defensive play by a Pirate this year?Look no further than Gold Glover Corey Dickerson's take-away, sez MLB.com.
  • The Chinatrust Brothers of the Taiwanese League signed cornerman Eric Wood from Indy. The 26-year-old Canuck slashed .269/.328/.481 with 11 home runs last year and will play for Team Canada in the 2019 Pan-Am games.
