Hurdle hasn't been shy about working the A-team, has he? Tells me he wants to hit the ground running and win some ballgames right out of the chute. Lo and behold, he actually is treating this like it's a major league operation that has winning as its goal (whether realistic or not), as opposed to "it doesn't matter how many games we lose 'cuz we're rebuilding". How refreshing.
Yah, Will, he is getting the big boys their at-bats. His ten starters are in the top twelve of that category.
He's gotten the guys in battles some swings, too. It's nice to see a skipper that doesn't trot out Indy and Altoona's lineup every day.
