Yesterday: The Pirates were off.
Notes:
- Joe Musgrove will throw a minor league game and may be back in the saddle at camp next week. AJ Shugel apparently isn't doing quite as well and is still shut down with "right shoulder discomfort."
- Steve Adams of MLB Trade Rumors is baffled by Neil Walker's ice-cold market, as is MLB.com's Mike Petriello, who has a list of clubs that could use The Kid.
- Brandon Moss, 34, was released by the A's, who are eating his $5M contract. He's said to be weighing retirement.
- Everything old is new again - Tampa is planning on a four man rotation. That's quite the response to clubs tinkering with the idea of six-man rotations.
