Today: The Pirates are on the road again as they visit Champion Stadium at Lake Buena Vista to take on the Atlanta Braves at 1:05 (Game on KDKA-AM 1020). Chad Kuhl answers the opening bell and Felipe Rivero, Trevor Williams, Dovydas Neverauskas and Tyler Jones are on tap. Brandon McCarthy is on the hill for the Braves.
Yesterday: The Bucs frolicked to a 9-3 win over the Twinkies. Jamo tossed OK, retiring seven-in-a-row at one point but giving up two runs in 2-2/3 IP, both keyed by Brian Dozier doubles. Michael Feliz was also touched for a tally, but the other arms were lights out. Steven Brault and Tyler Eppler both had clean two-inning stints while Richard Rodriguez and Alex McRae added zeroes. The Bucco binge was a steady nickle-and-dime assault, with the big blow being Eli Diaz's three-run bomb in the sixth frame.

- Adam Frazier and J-Hay both went 2-for-3 to lead the 14-hit attack.
- Aside from Diaz's three-spot, Colin Moran, Erich Weiss, Eric Wood and Todd Cunningham chased home runners (one run came in on a WP and another on a DP ball). Cunningham scored twice while seven other Pirates also touched home.
- Hmmm...Jim Duquette of MLB.com has a list of 15 guys who are likely deadline trade candidates. Among the possibilities is the Giant's Andrew McCutchen, especially if he has another slow start.
