Arb Day: Everyone Signed on the Dotted Line; No Salary Surprises

Today at 1PM was the deadline for teams to exchange salary figures with their arb-eligible players; the Bucs had a list of eight guys they hadn't settled with yet.

That list: 1B Josh Bell, 2B Adam Frazier, starting pitchers Joe Musgrove, Trevor Williams, Chad Kuhl and Jameson Taillon (Kuhl & Taillon are both injured; Cool Whip will be back this year, but prob not Jamo) and relievers Keone Kela and Michael Feliz. Two arb-eligibles have already been taken care of prior to today. IF Erik González inked a $725K contract and C Elias Díaz wasn't tendered and signed a minor league contract with the Rockies.

Josh was the winner in today's dealing, although at a bargain price - Topps 2018 Opening Day

Here's their (estimated 2020 value), per Matt Schwartz of MLB Trade Rumors, and what happened today, per a variety of reports:

Josh Bell ($5.9M) - Josh agreed to $4,800,000.
Joe Musgrove ($3.4M) - Big Joe agreed to $2,800,000.
Keone Kela ($3.4M) - KK agreed to $3,725,000.
Adam Frazier ($3.2M) - Fraze agreed to $2,800,000.
Trevor Williams ($3M) - Willy agreed to $2,825,000.
Jameson Taillon ($2.3M) - Jamo agreed to $2,250,000.
Chad Kuhl ($1.4M) - Cool Whip agreed to $840,000
Michael Feliz ($1.2M) - Michael agreed to $1,100,000.

All were one-year deals and most surprisingly came in under the guesstimates; the biggest surprise was J-Bell making such a team-friendly agreement. Maybe his agent, Scott Boras, is trying to get off on the right foot with the new Bucco brass. At any rate, the signings came to $21.739M counting Gonzalez, about $2.86M less than the MLBTR estimate of $24.6M.
