Lineup: Adam Frazier 2B, Kevin Newman SS, Josh Bell 1B, Colin Moran DH, Bryan Reynolds LF, Phil Evans 3B, Guillermo Heredia CF, Tucker Cole RF, John Ryan Murphy C, and Derek Holland P. Looks like the bottom four are gonna be mix-and-match in the early slog.

Pitchers: LHP Derek Holland takes on RHP Josh Lindblom. Holland was a free agent signing as an NRI and made the club, performing solidly enough in both spring and summer camps. He's been effective the past two seasons against Milwaukee, with a 1-0/1.74 slash in 11 appearances (two starts). The lefty had his game face on a little early; he was ejected Sunday for barking at the plate ump. Lindblom had a cup of coffee with the Bucs in 2017, spending time at Indy before being granted a release to playing Korea. In 2018-19 he won 35 games in the KBO and was selected as its top pitcher and parlayed that into a deal with the Crew; we'll see how that translates. After all, the 33-year-old is only making the second start of his major league career.
Notes:
- Nick Burdi wasn't available last night; coming off his injuries and lack of work in the last two years (21 IP), they're being quite careful about his usage. Clay Holmes, JT Brubaker and Rob Erlin were the only relievers they didn't use last night; JT had tossed two innings Sunday while the others were fresh. Polanco, Jarrod Dyson, Jose Osuna and Jake Stallings were given today off. Seems like an awful lot of velvet-glove treatment for five games...
- Gregory walked twice and whiffed twice (against lefties) in his return to action.
- The Indy Indians are forming a community committee to examine its nickname.
