Mitch v Dakota; Lineup & Notes

Game: The Pirates close their opening series at 2:15 in Busch Stadium against the sweep-seeking Cards. The game will be aired by AT&T Sportsnet and 93.7 The Fan.

Lineup: Adam Frazier 2B, Bryan Reynolds LF, Josh Bell DH, Colin Moran 1B, Phil Evans 3B, Jose Osuna RF, Jarrod Dyson CF, Jake Stallings C, Erik Gonzalez SS and Mitch Keller P. Apparently the lineup is going to be a very fluid thing this year. Part of the roster juggling is because of the abbreviated camp 2.0 and the players lack of prep time for the season.

Mitch looking to break out - 2018 Bowman Platinum

Pitchers: RHP Mitch Keller faces RHP Dakota Hudson. Keller has added a change to his resume; we'll see if that and dodging the big inning will help turn him it around this season. His deep stats show some bad ball luck last year, so there should be improvement just by normalization of those numbers. It will be his first shot at St. Louis. The youngster Hudson is already 3-0/3.76 v the Buccos in six appearances (two starts), so he's comfortable against the Pittsburgh club.
