- Jim Callis of Baseball America tweets that the Pirates have signed fifth round selection prep RHP Tyler Glasnow to a $600K deal. They've inked seven of their top ten picks, with Gerritt Coles, Josh Bell, and ninth round high school RHP Clay Holmes still to go.
- Tim Williams of Pirates Prospects posted that the Bucs signed 37th round draft pick Rodarrick Jones, an outfielder from Southern University. The 21 year old is a raw but athletic project.
- The Cards and Brewers were up to their usual tricks last night. Ryan Braun and Albert Pujols were beaned, Yadier Molina was ejected, and Tony LaRussa didn't like the scoreboard lighting the game before.
