Lineup (subs): Adam Frazier 3B, Phil Gosselin SS (Kevin Newman), Austin Meadows RF, John Jaso 1B, Chris Stewart C (Jacob Stallings), Max Moroff 2B (Erich Weiss), Chris Bostick LF, Eudy Perez CF & Trevor Williams P. Stew's back, taking it slowly after knee surgery, JJ's at first and a whole lotta bench and depth guys with them.
Pitchers: Trevor Williams, Steven Brault, Jared Hughes, Antonio Bastardo & Ty Webb. It's kind of a mix-and-match rotation today.
Yesterday's Game: The Buccos spanked the Bronx Bombers 13-1. Erich Weiss went 3-for-3 (he replaced Freeser, who was 2-for-2) with two runs scored and two more chased home. Minor-league OF'er Casey Hughston brought in three more tallies and Austin Meadows had a pair of RBI. Joey Terdoslavich plated twice and Jordy drilled his second spring HR. The Pirates' pitchers held the Yanks to five hits while whiffing nine; the only score surrendered was unearned.

- The Pirates will play the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday, August 20th, but instead of at PNC Park, it will be at minor-league BB&T Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field in Williamsport. (DKPittsburghSports.com was first to report). That's during the Little League World Series with the MLB game reportedly to be carried by ESPN. Pirates prez Frank Coonelly declined to confirm the report as the deal hasn't quite been finalized.
- Clint is back in the saddle today after missing a couple of games because of a funeral.
