The Lineup and All

-- Hey, it's a great day outside, the Pens are off...maybe someone will watch the Pirates play tonight. Paul Maholm and Randy Wolf, a pair of crafty vets, will face off at 7:05 PM, and the game will be shown on Root Sports.

-- The lineup: Jose Tabata LF, Neil Walker 2B, Andrew McCutchen CF, Matt Diaz RF, Steve Pearce 3B, Lyle Overbay 1B, Chris Snyder C, Ronny Cedeno SS, Paul Maholm P.

You'll note a couple of changes - Pedro gets the night off against a lefty, with Steve Pearce getting the start at third, and Chris Snyder, just done rehabbing, is behind the plate.

-- The Brewers are 47-17 (.734) against the Pirates since 2007, which marks the best winning % by a team over a divisional opponent during that span.

-- Jose Tabata's season-long hitting streak ended at 10 games, although he drew a pair of walks.

-- If Jeff Karstens doesn't get a call during tonight's game, he's in line to start tomorrow against the Reds.

-- Joe Beimel could return to the Pirates by this weekend.
