Pitching: Gerrit Cole (0-0, 0.00) v Raisel Iglesias (0-0, 3.00). Gerrit's working with an extra day between starts, so we'll see if that effects him. The Reds sure do; he's looking for his first W against them, being 0-4 in six starts with a 5.23 ERA lifetime. Iglesias is coming off a strong econd half last season, and was the Opening Day pitcher for the Reds. The Cincy Cuban (he signed a 7yr/$27M deal in 2014 after defecting to the US from the National team) has taken his bumps, too, as he's 1-1/6.52 in two starts against Pittsburgh.
Lineup: John Jaso 1B, Cutch CF, David Freese 3B, Starling Marte LF, Fran Cervelli C, Gregory Polanco RF, Josh Harrison 2B, Jordy Mercer SS, Cole P. Five days in a row with this group, and so far, so good.

- Indy can't get their season started because of Mother Nature's refusal to cooperate; they've had their first three games postponed because of weather.
- The Astros-Brewers game ended via a controversial DP based on the slide rule when Colby Rasmus couldn't hold the bag after what looked like a clean baseball slide. The 'Stro's admitted it was the right call per the language of the law, but wonder if the overslide provision doesn't need tweaked.
