Pitchers: Gerrit Cole (6-6, 2.78) opens against Mike Foltynewicz (4-4, 4.30). After shaking off some pots-DL rust, Gerrit has been pitching at ace level in his last two starts, working 15 IP and surrendering two runs on nine hits with a walk and 13 whiffs. Atlanta has never really solved the Cole Train - in three career starts, he's gone 2-0 with a 1.71 ERA. Folty has been a different guy at home than on the road. He's posted a 2.83 ERA at Turner Field compared to a 5.40 mark away. He's faced the Pirates once this year at PNC, and was bombed for seven hits and five run in three frames. We'll see how home cookin' tastes.

Lineup: JJ 1B, Gregory Polanco LF, Matt Joyce RF, Starling Marte CF, Jung Ho Kang 3B, Fran Cervelli C, Adam Frazier 2B, Jordy SS, Cole P. Cutch gets a sit-down day, as does Josh, who banged up his knee on Sunday.
Preview: Unlike Miller Park, Turner Field isn't a house of horrors for the Bucs. Pittsburgh is 5-2 in the past two seasons at Atlanta, and 11-7 v Atlanta since 2014. The Bravos are playing decent ball of late with a 4-2 mark in their last six games while the Pirates are coming off a three-game sweep at the hands of Milwaukee and are 6-8 since the ASG.
- No roster moves were required for Felipe Rivero (took Mark Melancon's place), Antonio Bastardo (replaced Jon Niese), Ivan Nova (claimed Frankie's spot) or Drew Hutchison (took Harold Ramirez's 40-man position). Antonio and Ivan are expected to be in uniform tonight, with Nova slated to take the hill on Saturday against the Reds.
- Matt Kemp is expected to make his Atlanta debut today. He's hitting .263 with 23 HR and 69 RBI.
