Cumpton v Lohse, Lineup, Vinnie at Indy

Brandon Cumpton (0-2, 6.85) opens a big series against Milwaukee and Kyle Lohse (7-1, 2.60). Cumpton is coming off his worst MLB start, taking a beating from the Dodgers. His track record is short, but he's been fairly solid, and his future may depend on him getting back on the bike and flinging a few sinkers that find gloves instead of grass. Lohse has been Mr. Dependability for the Brew Crew. He's coming off a three hit, complete game whitewashing of the Cubs and has tossed a quality start 10 times in his 12 outings.

The lineup: Josh Harrison RF, Neil Walker 2B, Cutch CF, Ike Davis 1B, Russ Martin C, Pedro 3B, Jose Tabata LF, Jordy Mercer SS and Cumpton P. Still no Starling sighting.

• Vin Mazzaro was outrighted to Indy after clearing waivers yesterday.
• LHP Yao-Hsun Yang, 31, from Taiwan was added to the Altoona roster. He was an off-season minor league signing after spending much of 2013 injured, per Pirates Prospects.
• John Dreker of Pirates Prospects reported that Jeff Inman joined the Bradenton Marauders roster. He's been inactive since May 8th last year after undergoing TJ surgery. RHP Robby Rowland went on the disabled list with an undisclosed injury.
