Today's Game: The contest starts at 7:20 and it will be aired on AT&T SportsNet & 93.7 The Fan.
Lineup: Adam Frazier 2B; Kevin Newman SS; Bryan Reynolds CF; Gregory Polanco RF; Jake Stallings C; Ildemaro Vargas 3B; Erik Gonzalez 1B; Ben Gamel LF; Tyler Anderson P. Will Craig had his first multi-hit game last night and sits down tonight.
Pitchers: LHP Tyler Anderson (3-3/3.50) vs. RHP Ian Anderson (3-1/3.20); no relation, we're told. Tyler had a tough start last time out, giving up a pair of first-inning homers and four runs in five innings, so we'll see if he has some bounce back in him or is taking the Jordan Lyles path. He has been a rock so far; the last start broke a streak of five one-or-two run appearances. He's only faced the Bravos twice, the last time in 2019. Ian has averaged better than a strikeout per inning, although he has been plagued by walks. The 23-year-old is coming off a strong rookie campaign, and after a bumpy start to May just tossed a two-hitter against the Brew Crew in his last trip to the hill. This will be his first outing against the Pirates.
