Pitchers: RHP Mitch Keller (2-5/7.16) v RHP Bryse Wilson (1-2/5.50). Mitch is still on the every-other-game schedule, and this is due to be a bad one. But last time out, he was faced with letting the game get away and instead shut the door, which is a positive sign not really shown in previous outings, so hopefully he'll build on that. He's only seen Atlanta once in his 2019 rookie year, and they chased him after three, scoring six times. Wilson has been a spot starter for the Bravos, and this will be his fifth outing of the year (12th of his 4-year, in-and-out MLB career). It's been a while since he's seen Pgh but it was a good showing, as his only appearance was in 2018 when he tossed five scoreless innings in his MLB debut.

Notes:

  • Trevor Cahill went on the IL today (retro to May 20th) with a left calf strain. and RHP Kyle Crick (triceps strain) was activated. Shelty didn't name Trevor's rotation replacement, but Miguel Yajure is lined up rest-wise to take Cahill's spot on Tuesday.
  • 3B Ke’Bryan Hayes (left wrist strain) will begin his rehab assignment tonight at Indy.

Tomorrow's Game: The game starts at 1:20 and will be on AT&T SportsNet & 93.7 The Fan. JT Brubaker takes on Max Fried in the finale.
