Pitchers: RHP Joe Musgrove (8-9/4.23) closes the set against Noah Syndergaard (7-5/4.10). Big Joe's been up and down; two of his last three starts have been pretty solid, so hopefully he's getting on a dog days roll. He seems to face the Mets annually; once in 2017, once in 2018 and after today, once this year. He's 1-1, giving up one run in 8-1/3 IP (one start). Thor had the start from hell, ending April with a 6.35 ERA; since then, he's gone 6-2/3.33. He hasn't faced the Bucs since 2016.
Notes:
- Clint is back in the saddle today after serving his two-game suspension.
- Bryan Reynolds is just a couple of plate appearances away from qualifying for the batting title. He'd be third in the majors and second in the NL with his current .333 BA.
