Not many pieces around for Shelty to put together a righty lineup v a southpaw, but the team has been effective with a .300/.377/.460 slash against lefties so far this year.

Pitchers: RHP Chad Kuhl (0-0, 1.80) opens against RHP Matthew Boyd (0-1, 7.20). LHP Steven Brault (0-0, 0.00) is expected to piggyback on Kuhl's start, a flip of the normal order of a ploy that's been effective so far. Both Bucs are coming off 2019 injuries, so pairing them up to manage the workload this year was a natural. Each have had short starts, Braults due to rain and Chad's due to a cut finger. Boyd is a veteran workhorse backender He was solid against Pittsburgh last year, going seven innings and giving up six hits/three runs with seven strikeouts in a no-decision.
