Key is on fire - 2020 Prizm On Deck
Pitchers: RHP Mitch Keller (1-1, 3.24) starts it off against RHP Carlos Carrasco (3-4, 2.90). Can't get a heck of a lot better than Mitch was in his last outing, going six no-hit innings against the Cards. He trying to lock down a top three spot in next year's rotation even with limited innings. He hasn't met the Tribe yet. Carrasco has been in a groove since late August; he's 1-1/1.41 with a K per frame and no outing shorter than six innings since 8/29. The Bucs chased him in the fifth earlier in August during a game the Indians won 6-3.
Notes:
- In his last eight games, 3B Ke’Bryan Hayes has hit .370 with three walks, two HRs, four RBI and six runs scored. The rook has hit safely in 16 of his first 20 big league games.
- The Indians have won five in a row, including a four-game sweep of the White Sox. They're one game behind the CWS and two behind the Twins in the AL Central. The Tribe have clinched a playoff spot and are now fighting for home field.
